    Petersham Horticultural Society was founded at the turn of the 20th Century. It is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to encourage and enthuse the families living in Petersham to enjoy their gardens. The Annual Flower Show is our biggest event of the year, drawing crowds from far and wide. Why not enter your roses in the show this year?

Petersham Nurseries

Petersham Nursery is quirky, beautiful place to shop, eat and relax.  Their amazing horticulturalists have selected an interesting, beautiful and unusual plants with which to fill this unusual emporium.  Their knowledge of David Austin Roses is amazing and their advice on all matters horticultural is sound.  A wonderful place to spend a morning or afternoon.

Petersham Horticultural Society members will receive 10% discount plants, seeds and sundries. In addition, if you spend over £50 members can enjoy a complementary tea or coffee. (Monday to Thursday only)

A Celebration of Roses 11th June 2019
The rose is one of our most favourite garden flowers, regularly topping the popularity charts. They come in a myriad of forms, colours, sizes and can be used in so many different situations in our garden.

(includes a tea/coffee and slice of cake from The Teahouse)
To raise funds for the local charity, The Vineyard Community Centre, Petersham House garden will be open to the public meeting the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable in our community, The Vineyard Centre offers: drop-in crisis clinics; a community café and Foodbank, along with training in social enterprise and community nursing.
Create A Bee Nursery

Encourage bees into your garden by creating a miniature bee
nursery for solitary bees with your children this Father’s Day. This workshop will be run in partnership with Environment Trust who aim to educate, empower and mobilise people to improve, preserve and protect their neighbourhood for the benefit of nature and people everywhere.
