Petersham Horticultural Society is hosting two events for its members (and neighbours) during September as part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) Dig Together Day.
This national campaign, organised by the UK’s leading gardening charity, the RHS, celebrates the nation’s gardening knowledge. This year, more clubs than ever will be holding their own RHS Dig Together Day events throughout the month of September. Dig Together Day aims to get more people to discover a love for gardening and in turn, boost club membership.
Saturday 10th September 10:30 to 12:30 Open garden, coffee and cake – Trumpeter House, Richmond Green.
Saturday 17th September 19:00 to 21:00 Evening talk, drinks and canapés – “The History of Parks and Green space (wild or nature and looking into the future) – David Thorpe. Petersham Village Hall. Bute Avenue. Off Sudbrook Lane
