What a lovely afternoon we had in the Sea Scouts Field the other week. Many families came to see us and many seeds were planted. It was lovely to see the enthusiasm of the children as they took their treasures home…. My children have been delighted to watch the first roots of their beans push downwards in their jars and this week watch the first leaves unfurl.
My son’s enthusiasm for planting will result in much to swap on the 7th May in in the New Inn (from 7pm) in our next pub trip.
I hope to meet many of you in the next few weeks – both during our practical session about perennial division (6th April) and at our Annual Lecture by the Floral Angels; who take unwanted flowers to deliver as small bedside arrangements to local hospices. (11th April).
