the PHS Committee is delighted to announce that James Power is coming to talk to us on Wild Bees and encouraging these important Pollinators into our gardens. his Talk Making Bees welcome in your Garden (and the mystery of the Petersham Bee) is bound to help all of us make changes to bring these buzzing friends into our gardens.
”We should all be doing what we can to make wild bees- solitary bees, bumblebees and cuckoo bees – welcome in our gardens. They’re the ones who do much of the hard work pollinating and are the ones who need our help the most. But how to ensure we’re giving them the right opportunity to fee forage and best?
James has a 40yr career in nature conservation behind him and has a passion for both wild bees and gardening. He has created a bee friendly garden and is looking forward to sharing his tips and tricks which he has picked up along the way – as well as letting you into the mystery of the Petersham Bee.
