The Petersham Horticultural Society would like to welcome the Spring with a Talk and AGM on Tuesday 12th March at the Petersham Village Hall, Bute Avenue; 7.30 – 9.00pm
Pat Ealey MBE of The Holly Lodge Centre will be our guest speaker. The Holly Lodge Centre provides an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy and learn from a series of hands-on experiences focusing on the rich natural environment in the unique setting of Richmond Park. We will hear about some fo the activities and it will be interesting to hear about the Victorian kitchen, the kitchen garden and how they have succeeded in the cultivation of old varieties of vegetables. We will also learn about how they benefit and enjoy the unique location in the heart of Richmond Park.
This will be followed by drinks, canapés and our Annual General Meeting where we will give the President’s and Treasurer’s Report; elect the Officers and provide an overview of our forthcoming 107th Annual Summer Show on Saturday 6th July at 2.15pm
